Introduction

Lysta is a platform for automotive dealers to manage vehicle inventory, pricing, and sourcing. Lysta also offers a Chrome extension called Lysta Companion that provides floating panels for listing and sourcing vehicles directly in the browser. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information across both the Lysta platform and the Lysta Companion extension.

Information We Collect

• Account information — name and email address provided during registration.
• Vehicle data — information about vehicles that you manually enter into the platform or extension, such as VIN, year, make, model, mileage, and pricing.
• Usage analytics — aggregated, non-personally identifiable data about how you interact with the platform to help us improve functionality.

We do not automatically scrape, crawl, or collect data from third-party websites. All vehicle and listing data is entered manually by the user.

Chrome Extension Permissions

The Lysta Companion Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

• storage — used to save drafts and user preferences locally in the browser.
• activeTab — used only when the user explicitly opens the Lysta panel. It does not access tab content automatically.
• scripting — used to inject the floating panel into the current page after the user clicks the extension icon.
• Host permissions (lysta.dev) — the extension communicates only with lysta.dev to authenticate and sync data with your Lysta account.

The extension does not read or collect data from websites unless the user explicitly interacts with the Lysta panel.

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the Lysta platform services.
• To sync vehicle inventory between the extension and your Lysta account.
• To improve platform functionality and user experience.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Your data is used solely to provide Lysta's services to you.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Lysta is hosted on secure infrastructure with encrypted connections (HTTPS). Authentication is handled through industry-standard providers, and access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
